
Open Consultants is a Berlin-based group of strategic and organizational consultants with the mission to advance global health & development. We provide strategic, policy, organizational, and analytical support to leading global health and development organizations. We are currently looking for a Freelance Consultant to support our work in Italy.
We work with leading institutions in international development and global health, from large public and private sector clients to foundations and non-governmental organizations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, WHO and the World Bank, among many others.
As a Freelance Consultant, you will support our work with one of our clients to implement their engagement strategy with Italian stakeholders in parliament, government, and broader civil society. This includes providing intelligence, ongoing research and policy analysis, drafting policy documents, and providing engagement recommendations. Ideally, you support us with 3-4 days per month. You bring:
Previous work experience in consulting or in government, government affairs, ideally with a focus on global health and development policy
Strategic thinker with experience and expertise in Italian politics, ideally in global health and development
Strategic thinking and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly acquire familiarity with new policy areas
Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Political Science, Public Affairs, Global Public Health, Economics, or another relevant field from a major university
Excellent problem-solving, writing, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Excel, MS Powerpoint
Fluency in Italian and English
An entrepreneurial spirit and a good sense of humor.
